FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining synthesis-gas for ammonia production, in which raw material natural gas is converted in installation of primary conversion and in installation of secondary conversion under pressure of, at least, 35 bars; product synthesis-gas at the output from installation of secondary conversion is cooled and subjected to catalytic average temperature conversion, converting CO into CO2 and H2, and carbon dioxide is removed from synthesis gas by means of physical absorption downstream of reactor of average temperature conversion.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to support catalytic layer at relatively low temperature.
