SUBSTANCE: derniographism and haemodynamics are typed, and a Kerdo index is calculated for a patient of 50 years old and over. A high risk of a developing proliferative type of secondary cataract is predicted in the patients showing white dermographism, hyperkinetic hemodynamics and the Kerdo index of 0.84 or more. A high risk of a developing fibrous type of secondary cataract is predicted in the patients showing red dermographism, hypokinetic hemodynamics and the Kerdo index of 26.03 or less.

EFFECT: higher prediction probability with a speed of implementation; the method enables the combined directed specific prevention and treatment of complications following the surgical management of the patients.
