FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical immunology, and can be applied for evaluating cytotoxic activity of lymphocytes of natural killer (NK) by target cells K-562, which remain non-degraded after contact with NK lymphocytes. For this purpose NK lymphocytes in composition of mononuclear cells are separated from peripheral blood of patients. Cytotoxic test, based on incubation of NK lymphocytes and target cells K-562 is set. At that target cells K-562 are not labeled with 3H-uridine. Cytotoxic activity of NK lymphocytes is evaluated by calculation of quantity of remaining non-degraded target cells on automatic cell counter and analyser, adjusted for detection of cells with diameter from 15 to 40 mcm. After that, index of cytotoxicity is calculated by formula
EFFECT: invention ensures safety for researcher's health, as well as reduction of research duration.
