FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used in analysis of biological activity of blood cells. Device for determination of relative dimensions of aqueous envelope of blood cells includes system of formation of light ray, supplied through the analysed material, socket for placement of light-transparent cuvette in form of capillary with citrate blood, provided with heater, receiver for registration of angular dependences of light intensities, dispersed by blood cells (indicatrix of light dispersion) at observation angle 0=0-30°. At that capillaries with citrate blood are used after measurement of ESR of room temperature and ESR50, through which coherent plane-polarised radiation is passed. Registration of angular dependences of intensities of light, dispersed by blood cells, is realised in the range 1.35-5 mcm, with further measurement of areas of indicatrixes of light dispersion of red or white blood cells with aqueous envelope S1 and without it S2 (after impact of high temperature on said capillaries). Obtained values are used to calculate relative dimensions of aqueous envelope by formula: ((S1-S2/S1)100%.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of time for analysis of biological activity of blood cells.
