FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method is applicable for assessing the nanoparticle impact on cell culture vital activity. It provides incubation of primary cultures of multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells recovered from stromal-vascular fraction of human fatty tissue, and mononuclear cells from human peirpheral blood with nanoparticle suspensions. The incubation is followed by assessing the nanoparticle impact on production of active forms of oxygen, on formation of apoptotic and necrotic forms, on mitochondrial functions, on the state of lysosomal compartment, as well as assessing intracellular accumulation of tested nanoparticles. The drived values are compared with the respective references of the tested cells.
EFFECT: method enables determining the biological nanoparticle impact on main functional characteristics of the cell system of a living body imitated by the primary cultures of multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells and mononuclear cells - lymphocytes.
