FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises straining of said plate by angular forming with the help of extrusion of the plate through the female die first and second channels with bend over height in the first channel and reshaping its cross-section in second channel corrugated in cross-section. Bottom of said channel is wavy. Uniformity of straining and multiple hardening of the curved section plate are ensured by making the plate front end as the first channel bottom. Note here that repeated plate forming cycles are carried out with the help of appropriate device for repeated forming. First channel of said device features cross-section similar to that of said second channel.
EFFECT: better manufacturability, decreased metal hardening forces.
