FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to devices, applied for puncture of arteriovenous fistula in the process of carrying out hemodialysis procedure in patients with terminal renal insufficiency. Device for puncture of arteriovenous fistula in the process of carrying out hemodialysis procedure consists of flexible plastic tube, clamp, locking plug, polyethylene "butterfly" fixation and metal needle. Distal end of flexible plastic tube is made in form of sampling plastic cannula from 30 mm to 33 mm long and with diameter not less than 1.65 mm, with 1-2 additional lateral holes. Metal needle is made with possibility of removal after it performs vein puncture. Locking plug is made from silicon material.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve life quality of hemodialysis patients due to absence of necessity to fix extremity in the process of entire hemodialysis procedure with elimination of possibility of producing microtrauma to vessel intima and chronic inflammation of arteriovenous fistula, frequency of thrombosis of arteriovenous fistula decreases.
