FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: emergency actuation mechanism is installed between an electric drive and a valve and has a spring-loaded rod. Said rod acts on the gate part of the valve to move the gate part of the valve into an open or closed position during emergency and in cases provided by the technological process. The emergency actuation mechanism is in form of a separate electromechanical unit and an electronic control unit. Inside said electromechanical unit, there is an electromagnetic clutch, an input shaft for connecting to the electric drive and an output shaft for connecting to the rod of the valve. Said rod is loaded by one or more recoil helical springs. Said electronic control unit functionally solves tasks associated with the operation algorithm of the clutch.

EFFECT: smaller design, determining the occurrence and type of an emergency without false actuation.
