FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding of hot working tool, operating in conditions of intensive load impact and warm temperatures. Envelope of flux cored electrode is implemented of armco iron. Powder-like charge contains components in a following correlation, wt %: nickel 25.9 - 29.6, molybdenum 7.4 - 11.1, cobalt 9.3 - 14.8, titanium 1.7 - 2.8, aluminium 1.7 - 2.8, chromium boride 16.7 -22.2, iron - the rest. Electrode mark-to-space ratio by powder-like charge is 54%. For manufacturing of flux cored electrode there are used clean powders of metals, varying charge compound subject to pad weld method subject to transition coefficient of alloying elements into deposited metal.
EFFECT: flux cored electrode provides increasing of hardness, oxidation resistance and, hereupon, wear resistance of deposited metal.
