FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to UV radiation systems used for killing microorganisms, particularly, to mixing of fluids in systems exploiting ultraviolet light for decontamination of fluids. UV lamps are arranged in fluid flow while modules with triangular mixers are spaced apart along every lamp. Note here that multiple modules of mixing elements create four vertices around every long part to make a square array of vortices.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
