SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food industry, in particular to devices for cold pasteurization of liquid food products. An ultraviolet reactor contains: one or several spiral tubes passing from an inlet end to an outlet end, one or several radiation source emitting radiation with a wavelength in the range of 180-300 nm and irradiating one or several spiral tubes, while the ultraviolet reactor additionally contains one or several filters, which prevent radiation with a wavelength of more than 300 nm from reaching one or several spiral tubes and weaken light with a wavelength of more than 300 nm with at least a coefficient of 100 or more. The use of such a device for cold pasteurization and destruction of microorganisms in liquid food products is also described.

EFFECT: inventions allow for provision of the destruction of microorganisms, as well as avoidance or reduction in product oxidation.
