FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of chemical engineering and can be used in chemical, petrochemical and power industries. The convertor consists of a reactor, an injector head for diesel fuel and oxygen injection with an ignition system installed in the upper part of the reactor body, and a water cooling system. At that the reactor is made as a combustion chamber for thermal-oxidising reaction combined with a slip-flow reactor with catalyst for the purpose of high-temperature stage of diesel fuel steam conversion through a heat-transfer wall of the combustion chamber body. They are also connected to a chamber for mixing of synthetic gas components of thermal-oxidising reaction and steam conversion, which in its turn is connected to a chamber for synthetic gas preparation for steam conversion of carbon oxide; the walls of this chamber are made as a slip-flow reactor with catalyst for the purpose of low-temperature stage of diesel fuel steam conversion. At the converter output there is a channel with a jacket for mixing of diesel fuel with water vapour; water cooling system is made as a cooling system for injection head and delivery of water vapour to the chamber of synthetic gas preparation for steam conversion of carbon oxide.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining of hydrogen concentration in the produced synthetic gas higher per 10% in comparison with other known schemes of converters.
