FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: thermogravimetric plant is designed to determine oxygen nonstoichiometry in solid oxide materials by variation of their mass depending on temperature and partial pressure of oxygen in gas atmosphere. The thermogravimetric plant comprises a measurement system, including a reaction chamber placed into a high-temperature furnace, a sensor of partial oxygen pressure, a thermocouple, highly sensitive scale with a crucible holder for a sample, a system to develop and maintain gas atmosphere with the specified partial oxygen pressure. Besides, the system to create and maintain the gas atmosphere with the specified partial oxygen pressure includes an electrochemical oxygen pump placed into the high-temperature furnace, tightly and closely connected with a reaction tube of the measurement system by means of gas pipelines with a circulating pump. At the same time the sensor of partial oxygen pressure, the electrochemical pump and the furnace of the electrochemical pump are connected to a controller that automatically controls their functions.
EFFECT: higher reliability of produced results in a thermogravimetric plant, simplified design, reduced costs for its production and provision of its compact placement in a laboratory.
