FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and adjustment of oxygen partial pressure in closed volume. It can be used at thermal analysis of phase conversions and dissociation of simple and complex oxides by thermogravimetry, thermodilatometry, differential-thermal analysis subject to variation of partial pressure of oxygen in equilibrium gas atmosphere. This method comprises feed of inert gas to the system to measure oxygen partial pressure therein. Said pressure is compared with preset magnitude. Said pressure in the mix is adjusted by oxygen pump by changing the current strength at oxygen pump to maintain preset constant oxygen pressure (individual for every test) in the range of -0.67>lgPo2>-24 (atm).
EFFECT: production of gas mix based on inert gas with preset oxygen content.
