SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. The method involves: when transmitting a signal over a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and/or a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a subframe i and a group of component carriers j, a terminal measures power margin in subframe i and group of component carriers j; the terminal reports the power margin to a base station and indicates the type of the reported power margin during transmission. The invention particularly indicates the type associated with the power margin by reporting type when reporting power margin, which enables to avoid confusion.
EFFECT: providing a method of processing power margin and a corresponding terminal.
