FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: anterior spine fusion is performed with the use of a pedicle rib by the sub-periosteal fragmentation of a rib bone with preserved blood supply. After multiple aggressive lesions of vertebral bodies are resected, anterior and lateral surfaces of the vertebral bodies placed between the defects are skeletonised from the periosteum. The rib bone segments of the vascularised transplant fitting a distance between the defects are resected in the sub-periosteal direction, and bone fragments equal to the length of the related defects are formed. Then, these fragments are inserted as a brace between the vertebral bodies limiting the defects. A muscular sleeve of the transplant is placed with its periosteum on the skeletonised vertebral bodies between the defects, covered with free ends of parietal pleura and sutured together.
EFFECT: invention enables primary and secondary spinal stability and improved blood supply in the transplant and parental bed.
