FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: staple back has a trapezoid projection with a straight section. The back and legs have closed slots filled with a therapeutic composition. A bottom surface of the closed slot represents a straight plane or a curved surface directed outwards, or a convexity directed outwards. The staple is mode of a wire made of a biologically inert material. The wire has a rectangular, round, oval or plane-oval cross-section.
EFFECT: reduced sliding friction of the staple surface and reduced number of tissue puncture injuries.
