FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: thermal direction finder comprises scanning mirror with angle transducers and drives, scanning mirror control unit and optical system with photo receiver connected via video signal processor and electronic computing unit with scanning mirror control unit connected, in its turn, with video signal processor. Note here that optical system consists of two components and incorporates deflector and deflector mirror control unit. Said mirror is mounted at the plane of interface between first component output pupil and second component input pupil. Note also that one of the inputs of deflector mirror control unit is connected with the output of electronic unit with computing component while another input is connected with scanning mirror control unit output.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of IR-object detection and increased range of detection.
