FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shutoff valves and can be used in devices for measurement of oil well production rate. A bypass valve of discrete action with magnetic fixation, relief and position control consists of a casing, a seat, a shutoff member with a stem and a spring, an additional spring, a magnet material-made washer on the stem, permanent magnets, upper and lower magnet conductors and a spacing bushing. The shutoff member is equipped by a sealing element. The latter is made as a non-detachable combination of elastic elements in the form of two rings connected by a round elastic plate. One ring is made as a circular cross-section mating with the valve seat. The other ring is of a rectangular cross-section and is mating with a backup ring set in the lower disk of the shutoff member. The round elastic plate is mating with the upper disk of the shutoff member. The lower disk of the shutoff member together with the base of the shutoff member provides for an annular gap connected to the annular chamber of the sealing element by holes in the lower disk. A sensor in the form of a reed relay and a magnet is installed in the upper part of the valve on the hollow cover. A magnetic field separator in the form of a hollow bushing with holes is fixed on the stem. The said bushing is set so that it can be movably connected in respect to the reed relay body and the hollow valve cover which are covered by a hollow hood.
