SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed stand features stationary external structure (13), three working rolls (2) arranged in their cassette-holder (3) fitted on rolling axis to displace from working position inside stationary structure (13) to that of lateral extraction (3') outside said structure (13) for replacement of rolls (2). Stiffness of said structure that rules out the parts corrosion and damage by cooling water is ensured by making said stand equipped with hydraulic assembly (4', 4'') for every roll (2) rigidly secured to said stiff structure (13). At least two first hydraulic assemblies (4'') are two-way valves, one working way being intended for adjustment of roll (2) position and second idle way facilitating lateral extraction of roll cassette-holder (3). Note here that second hydraulic assembly (4') is arranged horizontally to allow extraction of said cassette-holder (3) in horizontal plane Note also that two first hydraulic assemblies (4'') are inclined at preset first angle to vertical axis extending through rolling axis to allow extraction of cassette-holder (3) in horizontal; plane on the side opposite second hydraulic assembly (4').

EFFECT: uniform stiffness of rolling mill stands across the rolling mill.
