SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seamless pipes rolling with help of mandrel. Mill stand (1) defines rolling axis (X) position and includes support structure (3), three working rolls (5, 6, 7), each of which has corresponding central plane, passing along rolling axis (X), wherein central planes are located at angle of 120° to each other, and corresponding pad, cartridge (2), in which three working rolls are arranged (5, 6, 7) and pads, locking device (20) for pads in cartridge (2) position locking with provision of pads fixation in first radial position, in which cartridge (2) can be removed from support structure (3) and installed into support structure (3) in transverse direction relative to rolling axis (X). Simplification of working rolls replacement is provided due to fact, that locking device (20) contains three locking pins (15, 16, 17), attached to cartridge (2) and control device (14), connected by kinetic chain with three locking pins (15, 16, 17) with possibility of three locking pins common drive (15, 16, 17) with provision of locking by each of three locking pins (15, 16, 17) of corresponding pad in said first position.

EFFECT: seamless pipes rolling.
