FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes application of an aggressive reagent onto the surface of the stock, heating and assessment of extent of corrosion damage using an aggressive reagent, containing sodium sulfate and fusible ammonia sulfate, at the same time they first heat the stock to 250°C, apply the first layer of the aggressive reagent, repeatedly heat the stock to 250°C and apply the second layer of the aggressive reagent, then stabilising heating is carried out at 600°C for 0.5-1.0 hour and cooling on air with subsequent performance of assessment of corrosion damage extent to sulfide corrosion by reduction of stock material resistance reduction to low-cycle fatigue.
EFFECT: possibility to perform assessment of quality of parts during factory control, increased corrosion resistance and increased resource of parts.
