FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: control is carried out by the method of metal magnetic memory (MMM) and vortex current method (VCM), unfitness of elements is detected when detecting defects in the element by one of the methods, at the same time the defect during control by the MMM method is availability of local zones with modified material structure, having high mechanical stresses, gradient of intensity of internal magnetic fields of scattering of which does not exceed the reference value 5*104 A/m2 on damaged elements of cylindrical shape, and on the elements of the flat shape - 13*104 A/m2, and the defect in VCM control is availability of microcracks in a damaged element with opening of more than 0.05 mm.

EFFECT: increased reliability of detection of defective control elements of UKSPS, having different geometric shape, which are in process of operation.
