SUBSTANCE: vehicle engine compartment structure contains two side members connected with vehicle body. On each side member, shock-absorber strut mounts are held. Cross member located above side members is connected with front free ends of side members. One laced member adjoins the cross member. The laced member passes in longitudinal direction of side members and at one end is connected with cross member and at the other end - with shock-absorber strut mount.

EFFECT: higher strength of engine compartment structure.
