SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system (1), method and capsule (2) for preparation f the preset quantity of beverage suitable for consumption using an extractable product. The system contains an extractable capsule, an apparatus (104) containing a receiver (106) for accommodation of a replaceable capsule therein as well as a device (126) for fluid medium dispensing for such fluid medium delivery onto the replaceable capsule. The replaceable capsule contains a circumferential wall (18), a bottom (12) and a cover (16). The wall, bottom and cover enclose the inner space (20) containing the product being extracted. The capsule contains an outlet area to provide for draining the prepared beverage through it, such outlet area containing a filtering layer (36). The filtering layer consists of a nonwoven and/or woven fibrous material having at least one first area, where the nonwoven and/or woven fibrous material has been compacted to prevent flow of liquid through it, and at least one second area where the nonwoven and/or woven fibrous material has not been compacted to enable flow of liquid through it.
