FIELD: technology of making; food industry.
SUBSTANCE: capsule for preparing a predetermined amount of a fir for consumption beverage, using an extractable product, using a beverage preparation device comprising a capsule receiving container. Said capsule includes a cup containing a circumferential wall, a bottom covering the circumferential wall at the first end, and a lid, when used, connected to the cup at the second end of the circumferential wall opposite the bottom. When used, the wall, bottom and lid cover the interior space containing the extracted product. At least a portion of the surface of the capsule, when used to interact with the receiver, has at least one protrusion to form a sealing engagement with the receiver. In addition, the capsule comprises an additional rib that substantially concentrically surrounds at least one protrusion and has a height different from that of at least one protuberance.
EFFECT: capsule is provided for preparing a predetermined amount of the beverage.
