FIELD: preparation of drinks.
SUBSTANCE: capsule, a system and a method of preparing a determined quantity of a drink suitable for consumption with use of an extractable product. The capsule comprises a cup, the cup comprising a circumferential wall, a bottom closing the circumferential wall at one end and a cover that when used is connected with the cup on the other end of the circumferential wall opposite to the bottom. During use the wall, bottom and cover enclose the inner space containing the extractable product. At least a part of capsule surface serving for interaction with receiver in use has at least one protrusion to form sealing interaction with the receiver. Moreover, the capsule comprises an additional rib that essentially concentrically encloses at least one protrusion and has a height different from the height of at least one protrusion.
EFFECT: provision of improved engagement between the capsule and the receiver to prevent possible leakages due to irregularities of the receiver and/or capsule surface.
