SUBSTANCE: in powdered compound for material of cathode wetted coating in aluminium electrolyser that contains a functional component of titanium diboride, a binding agent and an inert filler the binding agent includes two types of binding agents simultaneously - inorganic one and namely a saturated acid solution of aluminium trichloride and organic one and namely a polymer with high coke value.

EFFECT: improving moulding characteristics of the powdered compound, increasing mechanical strength and electroconductivity of the material synthesised out of it, improving quality and serviceability of the final cathode wetted coating thus improving its service life and cost-performance ration of the electrolyser.
