FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostic imaging. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that a radiation detector module to be used for visualisation comprises a variety of detector pixels with each detector pixel including a scintillator (35) optically connected to at least one sensitive photodiode (34) operated in the Geiger counter mode, at least one reference photodiode (36) shielded from light and operated in the Geiger counter mode under the same conditions as at least one sensitive photodiode (34) is, a control circuit (42) which measures the breakdown voltage (84) at the reference photodiode (36) of dark current pulses (68) generated by the reference photodiode (36) at the breakdown of the reference photodiode (36), adjusts the bias voltage (80) at least one reference photodiode (36) and at least one sensitive photodiode (34) to bring the dark current pulses (68) generated by at least one reference photodiode (36), in essence, to the equality with prespecified characteristic logic level (70) of the voltage.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity of photodiodes.
