FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: workpiece is expanded by heating and with the help of expanding medium up to the dimensions of a mould made by closing half-moulds; it is done by the installation and fixation of the workpiece on a guide perforated, connected to the expanding medium source via its central hole and centred in axial direction inside the mould. When expanding the workpiece up to the mould dimensions, the expanding medium pressure is distributed evenly along the perforated guide. The workpiece is produced by making a package of polymer composite materials and their impregnation by a binder. The inner surface of the mould and the outer surface of the guide are covered by antiadhesion layer in the form of fluoroplastic film laid spirally with overlapping and fixed by the binder identical with the binder of the workpiece package. The assembled workpiece package is laid onto the antiadhesion layer of the guide and fixed, then an absorption layer from filter cloth is put above the workpiece. The whole preassemled unit is put into the mould, heated up to the polymerisation temperature, simultaneously with heating the working pressure of the expanding medium is supplied by the central hole of the perforated guide. Under the provided temperature and pressure the workpiece is held in the mould during the polymerisation time of the workpiece package material, cooled both under the pressure and without it, and the mould is demounted.
