FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary knife for, in particular, cutting of cigarette paper shell. Proposed knife has mounting bore to fit the knife at cutting unit shaft and multiple cutting teeth. Said teeth are arranged in disc circle. Mounting bore made at disc centre is connected with the knife cutting edge to make a break in knife edge at connection point. To install or to dismantle the rotary knife on or from cutting unit shaft equipped with several suck knives, free end of the knife are moved apart at disconnection point to fit it thereon or therefrom.
EFFECT: simplified replacement of defective or worn-out knives, decreased wear.
