FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: turn forming unit comprises a metal outer tube with an input section aligned with its axis, an intermediate section bending from its axis and a feeding section with permanent radius measured from its axis. A metal inner tube consists of input, intermediate and feeding sections which respectively line up the input, intermediate and feeding sections of the outer tube. Travelling of the inner tube is limited in respect to the said outer tube only due to the friction contact with the outer tube. The inner tube is able of stepwise movement inside the outer tube in one direction in response to the heating and cooling cycles during the rotation of the turn forming unit around its axis.

EFFECT: increased service life due to reduced friction wear.
