FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and aims at drop aerosol generation for tooth cleansing. A drop fluid tooth cleansing device comprises a tooth cleansing device, a fluid container and a plunger or piston movement system. The tooth cleansing device has a body portion and a nozzle portion for the drop fluid aerosol output from its distal end. When in use, the fluid moves from the fluid container into the nozzle portion close to its open proximal end. The plunger or piston movement system to a proximal end of the nozzle is provided to apply a force sufficient to eject the air by the plunger or piston and release into the nozzle at high speed sufficient to generate the drop fluid aerosol when the movable air contacts with the fluid. The device is configured to inhaust the atmospheric air when the plunger or piston moves from a hole on the proximal end of the nozzle portion.
EFFECT: invention enables generating the fluid drops for tooth cleansing with a gas source operating at normal pressure without the need of a removable gas can.
