SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for information exchange between information systems which comprises: in each client information system, facilitating storage of information on particular entities, which is generated according to a data structure set for a specific client information system and types of metadata on categories of particular entities, categories of additional information relating to the particular entities, and categories of relationships between particular entities and additional information; before transmission, information on a particular entity stored in the client information system is converted in said client information system to data packets on the particular entity, wherein each data packet is formed from three records, the first record being an identification characteristic of the particular entity, the third record being additional information relating to the particular entity and the second record being information on the category of the relationship between the first record and the third record.

EFFECT: simple method of transmitting data between information systems, high accuracy and reliability of data transmission.
