FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coatings that are resistant to bullet shooting impact in the course of operation and may be used for increase of the vest bulletproof performance. The bulletproof vest armour includes a layered coating on steel plates, the layered coating representing alternation of 3 nickel layers, 7-10 mcm thick, applied by the method of ion bombardment condensation, with 3 layers of chrome carbide layers,145-150 mcm thick, applied by the plasma cluster method.
EFFECT: increased resistance of the vest to bullet impact.
