FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: system contains external safety airbag with casing, gas generators and electric power source, is provided with ignition coil for gas generators ignitors and with switch having return spring. External safety airbag is filled with gas. Its casing is attached horizontally to locomotive front under lower edge of windshields. The airbag embraces locomotive front from lower edge of windshields to cow catcher bottom and has a rectangular groove for automatic coupling at its bottom at the side of locomotive front. Groove length and width are greater than length and maximum width of automatic coupling. Horizontal surface of the groove is located above automatic coupling, and in the area of locomotive front, damping surface of this safety airbag is flat and sloped back to the right and to the left in horizontal plane relative to its symmetry axis to the right and to the left.
