FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices and methods for intraoral gas delivery. A self-adaptable intraoral interface of constant positive airway pressure (CPAP) comprises a) a flexible polymeric tube portion designed for receiving constant positive airway pressure (CPAP) from a CPAP source through an adapter and used for delivering positive pressure air into a patient's mouth, b) a flexible polymeric intraoral portion integrated with the above tube portion; the above intraoral portion can be placed in the buccal direction towards the teeth in a buccal sulcus and has a central hole flow-through connected to the above tube portion, and a peripheral hollow rim forming at least one air pocket and respiratory inflation and compression, with measuring thereby at least one of the vertical and lateral dimensions, providing a fixed contact of tissue with the above buccal sulcus to ensure both inhalation, and exhalation compression.
EFFECT: designing less unhandy and more ergonomic devices and methods for intraoral gas delivery.
