SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of treating sleep disturbance in a patient, comprising using a set of intraoral devices comprising a first and at least second intraoral device (30). Each device of the first and at least second intraoral devices comprises generally U-shaped body comprising inner wall (34), outer wall (36) and flange (38) mutually connecting the inner wall and the outer wall. Shelf has front section and two arms with tail ends. Said flange has at least one respiratory hole (80) to form a total cross-sectional area for respiration, wherein the total cross-sectional area for respiration in the first oral device exceeds the cross-sectional area of respiration in the second oral device.
EFFECT: in the presented method, the patient wears the first intraoral device at the first stage of sleep treatment during the first period of time and wears the second intraoral device at the second stage of sleep treatment during the second period of time.
