FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to detect driving in a fatigue state. A driver's eye image is analysed by means of a rectangular standard of the sign to obtain an upper lid line, namely by bypassing eye images by means of many columns with the help of the rectangular standard of the sign and by recording locations in each column, where the value of the sign of the rectangular standard of the sign is maximum; with that, the sign value of the rectangular standard of the sign refers to difference of a scale of shades of grey colour between upper and lower halves of a rectangle, where the rectangular standard of the sign is located. An upper lid line is obtained, thus obtaining central points of the rectangular standard of the sign in the location in each column. Central points are connected to form a connection line. The connection line is assumed as an upper lid line. State of the eye closing is determined in compliance with curvature or the sign value of curvature of the upper lid line. Statistics on eye closing state is gathered, and therefore, it is determined whether a diver is in a fatigue state or not.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows increasing interference immunity and adaptability to changes in face expression.
