FIELD: computer engineering; vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: controlled operating mode vehicle active safety system comprises interconnected central control and measurement subsystem and auxiliary control and calculation subsystem, supporting communication with external structure. Central subsystem registers the speed and modes of work/rest of the driver and transmits operational data to the server. Auxiliary control and computing subsystem determines driver fatigue by his/her appearance by comparing normalized values affecting fatigue with processed actual values and in case of driver inattention and/or fatigue, generates a signal to the warning actuating subsystem.
EFFECT: faster prevention of emergencies and accuracy of detecting signs indicating maximum permissible time of driver’s stay at the wheel.
