SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of diagnosing a washing machine, a diagnostic device for diagnosing a washing machine and a washing machine with such a diagnostic device. A control unit interacts with at least one working unit of the washing machine and at least one control switch. The control unit is configured to respond to the switching of said at least one control switch to control at least one working unit. Furthermore, the control unit is configured to monitor at least one working unit to identify malfunctioning of said unit and to indicate the malfunction. The control unit is connected to a panel, having an indicator for at least one working unit.
EFFECT: said indicator for at least one working unit is configured to interact with a corresponding malfunction indicator for clear indication of the malfunction of said at least one working unit.
