SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. A method of measuring blood pressure is performed by means of an electronic sphygmomanometer in order to regulate pressure applied to a cuff. An input device performs input of data about a user. Data about the applied effort of a valve or a pump during blood pressure measurement are received by means of the data receiving device. Data about the applied effort are stored in a registration unit in connection with data about the user. The applied effort is corrected in such a way as to realise control of the valve or pump on the basis of the applied effort in case when data about the applied effort, connected with data about the user, are stored in the registration unit in calculation of blood pressure by means of the unit of blood pressure calculation.
EFFECT: application of the group of inventions will make it possible to increase accuracy of blood pressure measurement, as well as to realise the most individually suitable for the user control of increase and decrease of pressure and reduce measurement time.
