FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic sphygmomanometer for measurement of blood pressure in accordance with method of volume compensation. Sphygmomanometer contains cuff for attachment to place of pressure measurement, pressure sensor for determination of pressure in cuff, volume sensor for detection of arterial volume signal in place of pressure measurement, unit for regulation of pressure in cuff by increase of reduction of pressure, sensor for determination of value of artery volume change, central processor. Sensor of volume change shows that value of volume change converges, if said value has set value or lower. Central processor contains unit of pressure setting in cuff, unit of servo control for servo control of unit of pressure regulation in cuff in such a way that artery volume becomes constant, unit of blood pressure measurement, unit of calculation of rate of volume change elimination, unit of calculation of arteriosclerosis degree. Unit of calculation of rate of volume change elimination determines ratio of amplitudes of arterial volume signal at pressure in cuff equal to initial pressure and at minimal change of artery volume. Unit of calculation of arteriosclerosis degree deduces said ratio of amplitudes as index of arteriosclerosis degree.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention will make it possible to determine index of arteriosclerosis degree for specific measured patient.
