SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical diagnostics. Electronic sphygmomanometer contains cuff, connected with pneumatic system, which contains unit for regulation of pressure in cuff and pressure sensor for determination of cuff pressure signal, prescription unit for prescription of constant change of volume in cuff, unit of first pressure control for controlling drive of pressure regulation unit in such a way as to perform first control of pressure for changing pressure in cuff in specified direction. Prescription processor is intended for control of prescription unit drive for the period, during which first control of pressure is performed, and carrying out process of prescription of constant change of pressure in cuff. Measurement control unit performs control in such a way as to measure characteristic of pressure change relative to change of volume basing on the signal of cuff pressure, obtained in the course of process implementation by prescription processor, and measure amplitude of pulse wave basing on cuff pressure signal. Correction processor provides correction of pulse wave amplitude, basing on measured characteristics of pressure change. Unit of blood pressure calculation is intended for calculation of blood pressure value basing on corrected amplitude of pulse wave.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of pressure determination with modified quality of cuff wrapping and arm envelopment.
