SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. A blood pressure measuring device comprises a cuff, a pump for the fluid supply into the cuff, a cuff pressure control unit, a cuff pressure measurement unit, an inflation or relief cuff volume measurement unit, and an inflation or relief blood pressure calculation unit. The device comprises a circumference measurement unit for the place of measurement when changing the cuff pressure from a first pre-set pressure (Pc3) to a second pre-set pressure (Pc4); both of them are more than 20 mmHg. The device comprises a force measurement unit for the cuff wrapping about the place of measurement, found within one or more threshold values. The device comprises a threshold value determination unit individually for various circumferences of the place of measurement.
EFFECT: using the invention enables providing more accurate measurement of the wrapping force about the place of measurement.
