SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods of monitoring network performance. Disclosed is a method of providing data on performance of a communication network, having a mobile device with an installed monitoring tool. The method includes a step of transmitting a message from a mobile device to at least one server. Said server is configured to send the message back to the mobile device. The method also includes a step where the mobile device receives messages returned by each of the at least one server. Further, the method includes calculating the time difference between transmission of the message by said mobile device and reception of messages returned by each server from at least one server through the mobile device.

EFFECT: high performance of users in a data network by constantly monitoring the calculated time difference between transmission of a message by a mobile device and reception of messages returned by each server, wherein the calculated time difference represents data on performance of said network.
