SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for control for positioning session control means. Positioning session is established between mobile device and remote server via network. Data related to geographical position of said mobile device is transmitted to remote server after establishment of said session. Two or more notifications are issued to indicate that positioning session is active via mobile device in preset intervals or in response to the event. Then, user can confirm or reject the positioning session to allow better control of said data. Extra parameters of configuration are available for the user for control over character and distribution of the positioning data.
