SUBSTANCE: device enables to continuously feed banknotes from a customer service section to a recognition device. The recognition device reads identification information and stores said information in an identification information storage. When the recognition device recognises a banknote, it determines if the same banknote identification information is stored in the identification information storage. If so, the customer service unit feeds banknotes into the recognition device in accordance with intermitted feeding. This prevents failure to recognise any banknote.
EFFECT: high accuracy of operation of the device.
