SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of banknotes control in banknotes handling device. Banknotes handling device (100) is equipped with multiple compartments (71-73) for banknote storage, in which stored banknotes are placed, and banknotes loading compartment (70), in which stored banknotes are placed, to be loaded in each of banknotes storing compartments (71-73). This banknotes handling device (100) is equipped with banknotes recognition unit (30), which obtains serial numbers of banknotes during feed between banknotes storing compartments (71-73) and banknotes loading compartment (70), and supply line (80), that feeds banknotes from banknotes loading compartment (70) to banknotes storing compartments (71-73) through banknotes recognition unit (30). Main control unit (161) of banknotes handling (100) device controls line (80) of feed and during banknotes loading from banknotes loading compartment (70) to each of banknotes storing compartments (71-73) processes banknotes loading, whereby serial numbers of banknotes are obtained from banknotes recognition unit (30).

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility to control banknotes owing to use of switching first and second banknotes feed lines.
