FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method is based at laboratory tests of bore specimen, determination of absolute permeability and phase permeability for the purpose of further calculation of relative phase permeability for oil and water. Additionally viscosity is measured for oil and water used for the tests. Then calculations are made and curves are plotted for relative phase permeability on sample water saturation. Critical points are preset to plot the curves. On the base of these critical points for plotting of relative phase permeability curves Buckley - Leverett function and its derivative are plotted in order to characterise water saturation at piston-like displacement in mathematic modelling of filtration processes.
EFFECT: improvement of control efficiency over oil deposit development due to more complete and formalised consideration of parameters, which characterise processes in porous medium.
